FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH was organized in February of 1990. In October Pastor
Paul Larson and his family answered the call to minister here.
The Lord has
blessed our congregation as we continue to grow in number and knowledge of God's
Word. Our Congregation consists of a variety of people of all ages,
from the very young through senior citizens, who offer their many talents to
help and encourage one another in Christ.
Faith
Lutheran teaches the belief that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God,
and the need for a personnel relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord of our
life. It is a place where people can find answers and learn the way to heaven.
We
are a church that prays and not only believes God answers, but continue to see
His many answers and blessings.
As a church we offer a
variety of ministries. We have a mid-week Bible Study for Adults, and
there are several Bible Study and Discipleship groups available.
The Women of Faith
offer Bible Studies, which include a time for Prayer and fellowship.
The Men's Fellowship
Bible Study meets the first Saturday of the month.
Our growing
Sunday School, Youth Group and King's Kids are all very much a part of the life
of the church. Vacation Bible School is held every summer. An October Kid's Fest is celebrated as an alternative to
Halloween. The Youth meet weekly for Bible Study, go to Bible Camp
in the Summer and also enjoy a variety of retreats and outings during the year.
Evangelistic meetings are held each Spring and Fall.
Singspiration, Praise and Thanksgiving Services are held jointly
with several other churches.
We
participate in The National Day of Prayer and The Life Chain. There are Bible camps,
retreats, seminars, and a variety of guest speakers and musicians. We enjoy
picnics, fellowship dinners and many other activities for all ages.
Faith Christian school begin in 1997 and rejoice as we see it continue to
grow.
How blessed we
are to know that Jesus is alive and He never fails!
