Prayer for your husband

"Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth."
Psalm 54:2

Two of the most important spiritual disciplines of the believer are Bible study and prayer.  Prayer is the primary way in which we talk to God.   The Lord desires an intimate relationship with us, and a conversation with Him is the best way to grow close to Him.

"None can believe how powerful prayer is, and what it is able to effect, but those who have learned it by experience.  It is a great matter, when in extreme need, to take hold on prayer.  I know, whenever I have prayed earnestly, that I have been amply heard, and have obtained more than I prayed for.  God indeed sometimes delayed, but at last He came."
Martin Luther

"Every great movement of God
can be traced to a kneeling figure."
D. L. Moody

Daily prayers diminish
your cares.
"Evening, and morning,
and at noon, will I pray,
and cry aloud: and He
shall hear my voice."
Psalm 55:17

You are never so high
as when you are on your knees.
"Humble yourselves in the sight
of the Lord, and
He shall lift you up."
James 4:10

". . .praying always with all prayer and supplication
in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all
perseverance and supplication for all the saints . . ."
Ephesians 6:18

"The LORD is far from the wicked,
But He hears the prayer of the righteous."
Proverbs 15:29
